It is a fully automatic system, where the robot is in charge of placing the pallets in the palletizing station. There is a single product input, and two stations where the palletizing is done. The Cadence of the system is 13 boxes/minute, taking 2 boxes at a time.
The palletizing stations are located on high “gangs” so that an autonomous mobile MIR robot can then take the full pallets.
Once the robot places the pallets in the palletizing stations, it begins to assemble a pallet taking two boxes at a time. When the assembly of the pallet is finished, while the robot begins to stow on the other, a signal is emitted to the MIR so that it can be removed. The replacement of pallets is executed without the robot stopping palletizing.
The cell has all the appropriate technology, sensors, PLC, Panel, Security, and all the necessary supplies.
